St Brigids are Connacht champions after they defeated Moycullen 1-16 to 1-14 at DrHyde Park.

The Roscommon champions were behind for much of the first half, with a goal from Fiachra McDonagh giving the Galway side the perfect start after two minutes.

Moycullen were leading until just before half-time, when a two-pointer from Conor Hand ensured the sides would go into the interval level at 1-5 to0-8.

A point from Ciaran Sugrue saw St Brigids lead for the first time in the 34th minute, as the sides exchanged the lead in a tight final.

With Moycullen leading with three minutes to go, Ruaidhri Fallon gave St Bridgid's the lead late on, as the 2024 All-Ireland runners-up were champions once again.
