Ipswich were beaten 1-nil at Crystal Palace, meaning Wolves can move further clear of danger with victory over Everton in the final game of the day.

Hurling

Limerick have another win in Division 1A of the Allianz National Hurling League.

The Treaty County defeated Galway 1-27 to 18 points late on at the Gaelic Grounds.

In Division 1B, Dublin beat Carlow 2-29 to 3-17 at Parnell Park for their third win of the campaign.

That win means Offaly can't be caught at the top of the table and will be promoted to Division 1A next year.

Golf

Shane Lowry now shares the lead on day 3 of the Arnold Palmer Invitational.

Back-to-back birdies have the Offaly man back up to eight under par after a shaky start at Bay Hill.

He's now joined at the top of the table by Corey Connors and Collin Morikawa, whilst Rory McIlroy is back up to 5 under through 10 holes.

Athletics

Mark English has booked his place in tomorrow's final of the men's 800 metres at the European Indoor Championships in The Netherlands.

The Donegal native recorded a third-place finish in his semi-final to move on.

He won't be joined by Cian McPhillips after the Longford man failed to progress from his semi final.

Bori Akinola just missed out on a place in the final of the men's 60 metres.

Earlier, Andrew Coscoran and Sarah Healy booked their places in tomorrow's finals of the men's and women's 3000 metres.

And Orla Comerford came first in the 60-metres Para Mixed Classification in a season's best time of 7.63.
