Ireland have edged closer to another Six Nations Grand Slam with a 31-7 victory over Wales.

Ciaran Frawley was among the tries on his first Test start, as Andy Farrell's side made it three wins from three in the competition.

They face England at Twickenham in their next match. England's Grand Slam ambitions for 2024 are over.

Steve Borthwick's men were beaten 30-21 by Scotland at Murrayfield this evening.

Premier League

Manchester United missed the chance to move level on points with fifth-placed Tottenham as they were beaten 2-1 at home by Fulham in the Premier League.

Oliver Glasner won his first match as Crystal Palace boss with his team coming out 3-0 winners against Burnley.

Aston Villa got a 4-2 victory at home to Nottingham Forest and Brighton and Everton played out a 1-1 draw.

Manchester City and Arsenal are looking to close the gap to Liverpool at the top of the table.

City lead Bournemouth 1-0 while the Gunners come up against Newcastle at 8pm.

Gaelic games

Hurling

Kyle Hayes will start for Limerick against Dublin in their Allianz Hurling League clash this evening, despite awaiting sentence for two counts of violent disorder.

Elsewhere in Division 1B this evening, Tipperary play Westmeath.

Football

The heavyweight clash of Dublin and Kerry headlines this evening’s action in Division 1 of the Allianz Football League.

In Omagh, Rob Hennelly returns in goal for Mayo against Tyrone.
