A man has been arrested in connection with the disappearance of a man in Dublin, who has been missing since Sunday.

The man was arrested on Tuesday by gardaí as part of the investigation.

He is currently detained pursuant to Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at a Garda station in the Dublin City area.

Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
