A petrol bomb attack at a house in Limavady is being investigated.

Police appealed for information about the incident which they believe happened in the early hours of Thursday.

No injuries have been reported.

A police spokesperson said it was reported that the device was thrown at a residential property in the Sperrin Road area shortly before 1am, damaging the front door.

“Thankfully, there were no reports of any injuries,” they said.

“Inquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of the incident and we are appealing to anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area, or to anyone with CCTV or other footage that could assist the investigation, to contact detectives on 101, quoting reference number 58 of 04/06/26.”
