Monday's front pages focus on a range of stories, from Israel pushing deep into Lebanese territory to a poll showing climate change is not a top priority for Irish people.

The Irish Times reports the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) pushed further north into Lebanon on Sunday, capturing the strategic Beaufort Crusader castle for the first time in 26 years, as Hizbullah, in response, stepped up its rocket and drone strikes into large areas of northern Israel.

The Irish Examiner reports that one in five people in Ireland think both Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil are “very weak” in terms of their record in tackling climate change, with fewer than one in 20 people considering them to be very strong on the issue.

The Echo focuses on plans to revamp Cork's St Patrick's Street with new trees and flower beds.
