Man (20s) charged in connection with serious assault in Mayo last year

A fifth person has been charged in connection with a serious assault in Castlebar, Co Mayo, last August.
The man, who is in his 20s, has appeared before the courts.
The incident happened on Tucker Street in the early hours of August 23rd, when a man in his 20s suffered serious injuries following an alleged assault outside a licensed premises.
Gardaí say their investigation remains ongoing.
