A woman in her 20s has died in a collision in Nenagh, Co Tipperary.

The collision, involving two cars, occurred on the Nenagh to Dromineer Road R495 at around 9pm on Tuesday.

The woman, who was driving one of the cars, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Her body was taken to University Hospital Limerick, where a post-mortem examination will take place.

The road is currently closed to allow a technical examination to take place.

Any road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam, and were travelling on the Nenagh to Dromineer Road R495, Co Tipperary, between 8.15 and 9.45pm on Tuesday, May 12th, have been asked to make their footage available to investigating gardaí.
