Monday's front pages focus on a range of stories, from facial recognition technology being trialled on passengers at Holyhead to colleges being urged to cut on-campus days.

The Irish Times reports that thousands of Irish travellers will be scanned by live facial recognition technology this week as part of UK immigration enforcement efforts at Holyhead port.

The Irish Examiner reports that third-level institutions will be asked to examine reducing the number of days students must be on campus for lectures to limit commuting and pressure on student accommodation.

The Echo reports that the boss of Apple in Cork has called transport and housing an issue for the company.
