A man in his 70s has died in a collision in Co Tipperary.

The car he was driving crashed on the R660 in Holycross at around 2.15pm on Sunday.

His body has been taken to University Hospital Limerick for a post-mortem exam.

No other injuries were reported.

A technical examination of the scene has been completed, and the road has since reopened

Anyone who was in the area at the time is asked to contact Gardaí.
