Meath River Rescue recovered a body from the River Boyne earlier on Saturday.

The remains were taken from the water with the assistance of the Garda Water Unit at Beauparc, between Navan and Slane.

Meath River Rescue has been on the river searching for missing 14-year-old Benjamin Spot since November 10th.

Chairperson Christopher Rennicks would like to thank everyone who helped in the search.
