First acts announced for Electric Picnic including Fontaines DC, Gorillaz and CMAT

The first nine acts playing Electric Picnic 2026 have been announced.
Gorillaz are set to headline the Saturday, while Ireland's own Fontaines DC take the top spot on Sunday night.
Dunboyne Diana herself, CMAT, has also been announced, as has American singer-songwriter Sombr, known for the hit Back to Friends; Lush Life singer Zara Larsson; and British rapper Skepta.
It is the first time that Gorillaz will play in Stradbally, and organisers have said it is a "particular moment of pride" to watch Fontaines DC move up to Sunday night's prestigious closing spot.
Other acts announced include Wunderhorse, Role Model, and Geese.
Electric Picnic takes place on 600 acres of fields at Stradbally Estate from August 28th to August 30th 2026.
Fan favourites, including Trailer Park, Croí, Salty Dog, Providencia, Fish Town and more, are also set to return.
Organisers have said more announcements can be expected soon
