A man in his 30s has been charged in connection with serious public disorder in Saggart, Co Dublin, last month.

He will appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice on Thursday afternoon.

This brings the number of individuals arrested to date in relation to this investigation to 38.

A total of 29 individuals have now been charged in relation to this investigation.

Rioting occurred in Citywest on October 21st and 22nd.

Significant criminal damage was caused, public transport was severely affected, and four members of An Garda Síochána were injured.

The man was arrested on Thursday morning and detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at a garda station in the Dublin region.

The total number of individuals arrested to date in relation to the investigation now stands at 38.

A total of 28 people have been charged.

Investigations are ongoing, gardaí said.
