Katie Taylor has made her first public appearance with her new husband in Ireland.

The champion boxer, who is intensely private about her personal life, stepped out with her husband and family at an event in Ashford, Co Wicklow for Tiglin, a charity dedicated to helping victims of homelessness, addiction and social exclusion.

The event took place at the charities rehabilitation centre. and Taylor (39) is said to have spoken with residents and staff at the facility.

Head of the organisation Senator Aubrey McCarthy shared a picture alongside Katie and her husband.

Posting the snap on X, he said: “Humbled to welcome the undisputed world champion @KatieTaylor and her husband & family to @TiglinIreland."

"Her quiet strength and powerful message uplifted everyone in the room. Katie reminded us that recovery, like boxing, demands courage, discipline & heart.

"Thank you for inspiring hope where it’s needed most."

Last month, Pete Taylor revealed his daughter's marriage while speaking on a podcast about their relationship. Her husband’s name has not been shared, but he is reportedly American.

“Ever since the fight there with Katie, people are seeing the two of us back together, even some of the shit you hear about that,” he told Anything Goes with James English.

His revelation came after Taylor was seen wearing a wedding ring. She recently reconciled with her father after nine years, having fallen out when he split from her mother, Bridget. He had also been removed from the Olympic gold medallist's coaching staff during this time.
