Kneecap have cancelled all their upcoming US tour dates.

In a post on Instagram, the band said the cancellations are due to Liam Óg Ó hAnnaidh's next court appearance being so close to the planned start date of their American shows.

The band member, also known as Mo Chara, is due back in court in London on September 26th.

He faces a terror charge, which he denies.

In the post, Kneecap said they were "sad to deliver" the news of the cancellations, as every show was sold out.

The tour was due to begin at the start of October with 15 dates in total.

The rap trio added that their Canadian shows in Vancouver and Toronto will still go ahead.
