Monday's front pages focus on a range of stories from more than 1,800 teaching posts being vacant to a senior garda using official channels to import gun parts for a private club.

The Irish Times reports more than 1,800 teaching posts were left vacant this year, while many schools in the Greater Dublin Area report that they are struggling to hire qualified staff in the run-up to the new academic year.

The Echo focuses on the madness over getting tickets for the All-Ireland hurling final between Cork and Tipperary.
