Herbal cannabis worth an estimated €224,000 has been seized following searches at two separate locations in Dublin on Friday.

As part of intelligence-led operations, Revenue officers and Gardaí seized 11.2kgs of the drug in a joint operation.

A man aged in his 40s and a woman aged in her 50s were arrested and are currently being detained at Garda Stations in Dublin.
