Tánaiste describes stabbing of a man in Dublin city centre as 'alarming'

The Tánaiste has described the death of a man in Dublin city centre as "alarming, shocking and deeply concerning".
A murder investigation's underway into the stabbing on South Anne Street in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The man in his 30s was found with serious knife injuries and died after being brought to hospital.
A second man was injured and has been treated at St. James's Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
Speaking in Munich, Tánaiste Simon Harris says the Justice Minister is making efforts to keep the city's streets safe: "He is being kept updated by the Garda Commissioner in relation to this. He is also working with Government colleagues to increase the number of gardaí on our streets.
"I am very conscious there is an active murder investigation that has now been opened in relation to this issue. We have seen the loss of life of one person and another seriously injured, so we need to let this investigation proceed."
