A man has been arrested following a robbery incident in Finglas, Dublin on Tuesday.

The incident happened at approximately 1:30am, when gardaí received a report of a robbery in progress outside a residential premises at Finglas Place.

The incident was attended by members from Finglas Garda Station and the Armed Support Unit who arrested a man at the scene.

This man, aged in his 30s, was taken to a Garda Station in north Dublin where he is currently detained,

Two men, aged in their 60s and 70s, were taken to the Mater Hospital for treatment. Their injuries are non-life threatening.

Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
