Man (30s) dies after car enters water in west Cork
A man has died after the car he was driving entered water in Co Cork.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Friday morning on the R571 road in the Eyeries area of west Cork.
Gardaí said a single vehicle entered the water. The driver, a man in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road remains closed pending a technical examination by gardaí. Diversions are in place.
