16 people will appear in court on Friday morning as part of Operation Thor in Dublin.

It follows a Garda operation in the north of the county.

A number of arrests have been carried out over recent weeks by Gardaí in the Coolock and Raheny districts, targeting people who are engaging in targeted property crime and profiting from criminal activities.

16 people aged from 14 to 55 have been charged with 62 offences, including burglary, theft, criminal damage, robbery and stealing a vehicle.

They include 13 males and 3 females. Two of those arrested are children.

All 16 will appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice, Cloverhill District Court, Swords and Balbriggan District Court and Dublin Children's Court on Friday morning.

Gardaí say this is an active and ongoing operation.
