A total of 462 admitted patients are waiting for beds this morning, according to today’s Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO) Trolley Watch.

This includes 337 patients waiting in emergency departments, while 125 are in wards elsewhere in hospitals.

The most overcrowded hospital is University Hospital Limerick, where 80 people are waiting for beds.

This is followed by Cork University Hospital (57 patients), University Hospital Galway (49 patients), and Sligo University Hospital (40 patients).

The hospitals with the most patients waiting for beds in emergency departments are Cork University Hospital (48 patients), University Hospital Galway (38 patients), University Hospital Limerick (31 patients), St Vincent's University Hospital and Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda (both 25 patients).

The most overcrowded hospital in Dublin is St Vincent's University Hospital, while all 25 people waiting for beds are in the emergency department.
