Man dies after bull attack

A man in his 60s has died following a bull attack on a farm in Co Limerick.

Gardai were alerted to the incident in Lisnagry on Tuesday morning after the man’s body was discovered on the farmyard.

The body has been removed from the scene to University Hospital Limerick where a post-mortem examination was scheduled.

Gardai said a file will be prepared for the coroner’s court.

The Health and Safety Authority is also conducting an investigation.
