Emergency services responded to two crashes on the M50 during the evening rush hour in Dublin.

The first forced a full closure of a section of the southbound side at junction 16, Cherrywood.

Dublin Fire Brigade said this was a "multiple vehicle" crash.

The other incident was an overturned car on the northbound side of the road at junction 3 for the M1.
