Trolley Watch: 376 patients without beds in Irish hospitals

There are 376 patients waiting for a bed at Irish hospitals on Thursday morning.

The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation's (INMO) Trolley watch figures show 279 patients were waiting in emergency departments, while 97 are in wards elsewhere in the hospital.

There are 74 of those patients based at University Hospital Limerick, 47 at Cork University Hospital and 47 also at University Hospital Galway.

Of those waiting for beds in emergency departments, three patients are under 16.
