Following their arrests and detentions, one man in his 20s was charged and brought before the District Court on Thursday, January 25th.

Three men have been arrested and charged after drugs and cash were found in a car by gardaí during a routine stop.

The occupants of the car, the three men were detained under Misuse of Drugs legislation and taken to Tullamore Garda Station.

Subsequent investigations led to the arrest and detention of the individuals in connection with recent retail theft and deception incidents in the region.

Following their arrests and detentions, one man in his 20s was charged and brought before the District Court on Thursday, January 25th.

The other two males, aged in their 30s and 40s, have also been charged and to appear before Mullingar District Court on Friday, January 26th.

Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
