A man in his 30s has been arrested following the seizure of €14.2 million cocaine at Rosslare Europort, Co Wexford, on Saturday evening.

Approximately 202.5kg of suspected cocaine was seized by Revenue Officers following the search of a lorry which had disembarked from a ferry.

The man who was arrested by gardaí is currently detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996 at a Garda Station in Co Wexford.

Gardaí said investigations are ongoing.
