Popstar Ariana Grande appears to haunt US actor Justin Long in her new music video for Hate That I Made You Love Me.
The 32-year-old singer stars in the video for her latest song alongside the He’s Just Not That into You and Jeepers Creepers star, Long, 47.
The video, which was released on Monday, opens with Long shovelling dirt over a grave before revealing that Grande is underground in a bunker-like room.
As Long drives away, he catches a glimpse of Grande in the rear-view mirror. However, when he turns around to see her, she disappears.
Grande’s character, who appears to be a former partner of Long’s character, continues to haunt the Hollywood star, causing him to crash his car which bursts into flames.
As he walks away from the wreckage, Grande appears to follow behind him sporting a yellow maxi dress.
Long later begins to pack a bag in his house and throws away photographs of the pair together, as well as a plate that says “Happy 8th anniversary”, in the fireplace, with Grande watching on from behind a door.
The haunting does not end there as Long walks into a diner only to find that the waitress is Grande before noticing that so is the chef and the rest of the customers in the restaurant.

He returns to the spot where he dug up the singer, entering the bunker only to find that Grande – or her ghost – escaped.
The video ends with Grande shoveling dirt over Long, trapping him in the bunker.
The track is the first single released from Grande’s upcoming eighth studio album, Petal.
The 12-track record will be released on July 31st, just over a year after she released Eternal Sunshine Deluxe: Brighter Days Ahead.
The video comes days before the singer sets off for her The Eternal Sunshine tour, with dates scheduled in Los Angeles, New York, Boston, Chicago and Montreal.
Grande will wrap up the concert with 10 shows at London’s O2 Arena in August and September.

The Grammy award-winning singer rose to fame after starring in the hit Nickelodeon series Victorious and its spin-off Sam And Cat.
In 2013 she released her debut album, Yours Truly, and has since gone on to achieve seven number one singles in the UK, including for Problem, Break Up With Your Girlfriend I’m Bored, and Rain On Me.
Grande has also had five UK number one albums – including 2016’s Dangerous Woman, 2018’s Sweetener and 2019’s Thank U Next.
