Dua Lipa has reportedly fired her long-term manager after he signed a letter seeking to have Irish rap group Kneecap banned from performing at Glastonbury over their pro-Palestine activism.

The pop superstar has reportedly fired her agent David Levy over the letter, which was signed by several music industry professionals and sent to Glastonbury founder Michael Eavis.

Eavis ignored the calls and Kneecap's Glastonbury performance went ahead.

Avon and Somerset Police dropped an investigation after complaints over the Belfast trio's performance. It said there was “insufficient evidence to provide a realistic prospect of conviction for any offence”.

A source told The Mail that Dua Lipa sacked Levy because her pro-Palestine stance "doesn't align" with him.

"Dua made sure through her people that David Levy wasn’t working on her music any more. She is very openly pro-Palestine, and that doesn’t align with David.”

“She views him as being a supporter of Israel’s war in Gaza, and the terrible treatment of the Palestinians and that was made very clear through the letter that he signed and sent to Michael Eavis.”
