Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) confirmed plans to increase charges at nine of the State's tolls from January 1st, 2023

State roads operator Transport Infrastructure Ireland said the decision to hike tolls was "driven by the current rate of inflation".

CORK County Council officials have said they are not aware of any plans to place tolls on approaches to the Dunkettle Interchange if sections of road are upgraded to motorway status.
