A CORK priest has officially been ordained as the new Bishop of Meath, following a Mass of Ordination on Sunday afternoon. Bishop Tom Deenihan had previously served as parish priest in communities across Cork including Bantry, Kealkil and Glanmire.

Four men and a woman are being questioned this morning in connection with the murder of Aidan O'Driscoll in Blackpool on December 7. The arrests were made in Blarney and the northside of Cork city this morning.
