A Careers Advisor at UCC believes the ‘explosion’ in points required for a number of courses in Cork this year will lead to more people exploring and taking up offers in PLC colleges locally.

MUNSTER Technological University (MTU) will offer CAO applicants a second chance to hit their Maths mark if they have not met the entry requirements for their chosen course.

This year’s Leaving Certificate will begin on Wednesday, June 9 with the customary English Paper 1 exam scheduled for a 9. 30am start. The Leaving Cert maintains its traditional start on the first Wednesday after the June Bank Holiday weekend.

THE results of the deferred 2020 Leaving Certificate, Leaving Certificate Applied and Junior Cycle Examinations which were held during November and December last year will be made available to candidates from 12 noon on Tuesday, February 2.
