The average interest rate on a new mortgage was at 2.92% in February, down from 2.93% in January

This is in stark contrast to the rest of the Eurozone where rates have risen dramatically over the past year.

It is the company's fourth such increase this year

The latest price hike will take effect from October 2nd

The energy provider will increase its standard electricity and gas prices which will increase bills by 26.7 per cent and 37.5 per cent.
