Stories From The Sea, Everyman, €24, 7.30pm: Award-winning film-maker Ken O’Sullivan talks about his 25 years exploring the seas around Ireland and beyond, including tales about swimming with dolphins and being surrounded by killer whales.

Epiphany, Cork Arts Theatre, €18, 2.30pm & 8pm: Telling the story of James Joyce’s The Dead from the woman’s point of view. A riveting performance from Lesley Conroy.

An tÉalú (The Escape), Cork Opera House, €26-31, 8pm: A new comedy musical with a cast of 24, supported by a live eight-piece band, exploring what happens when an independent woman wants her freedom again.

To Hell In A Handbag: The Secret Lives Of Canon Chasuble & Miss Prism, Everyman, 8pm: Written and performed by Jonathan White and Helen Norton, this is a wonderful sideways glance at Oscar Wilde’s classic.

SFSH – SIRENS, Cork Opera House, €41, 8pm: A celebration of music, connection, and collaboration, a space where voices intertwine in support, harmony, and shared expression. Hosted by Lisa Hannigan, the event brings together a collective of female artists.

Music Network, St Brendan’s Church, Bantry, 8pm: Four of Ireland’s most outstanding traditional musicians, Muireann Nic Amhlaoibh, Pauline Scanlon, Tom Morrow, and John Doyle, unite to explore songs and tunes that celebrate the beauty, depth and spirit of Irish music.

Oas1s | Oasis Tribute Act, Sea Church, Ballycotton, €20, 8pm: Billed as Ireland’s most elite tribute act to the Manchester sensations.

Nell Ní Chróinín, Liam Flanagan, Caoimhin Ó Fearghail Agus Derek Hickey, Ionad Cultúrtha, Ballyvourney, €15-20, 8pm: Concert by the four musicians.

Va Va Voom!, Crane Lane Theatre, free, 9pm: a high energy outfit from Cork, playing an eclectic mix of rock, funk & soul with liberal dollops of nostalgia from the 80s/90s kids generation.

Stephen Murphy, Greywood Arts Centre, Youghal, €15, 9pm: Acclaimed singer-songwriter who performs a blend of modern folk and blues.

Leanne McDonagh: Community & Connection, Uillinn: West Cork Arts Centre, 2pm: The opening of a new exhibition by artist Leanne McDonagh, from the Traveller community based in Cork county. She is in conversation with artist Toma McCullim for the launch.

Siege and Battle of Kinsale Seminar, St Multose Church, Kinsale, 10-30am-4.30pm: As part of the 425th anniversary commemorations of the battle, this explores the Spanish landing in 1601, the siege and battle, through a fascinating programme of illustrated lectures by four historians.
