Gift Grub Live 25, Cork Opera House, 8pm: Ireland’s most successful impressionist and satirist, Mario Rosenstock, celebrates 25 years of Gift Grub with a brand-new stage show. Tickets €43.50.

Jamie Duffy, The Everyman Theatre, 8pm: Just 23, Duffy has rapidly emerged as a standout figure in the music scene, blending traditional, popular and classical influences. Tickets €22.50.

Trad, Cork Arts Theatre, 2pm and 8pm: Trad, a short but epic voyage, follows the relationship of a 100-year-old Irishman and his father, in a surreal comedy. Tickets €20.

Strange, But True Crime, Cork Opera House, 8pm: Exploration of the world’s most shocking and unbelievable crime cases, presented by ex-forensics lecturer Jennifer Rees. Tickets €30.

Clare O’Mahony presents The Songs of Joni Mitchell, The Everyman, 7pm: Acclaimed Cork songwriter Clare O’Mahony celebrates the iconic music of Joni Mitchell. Tickets €30.

Joy Division Tribute In Aid Of Pieta, Crane Lane, 9pm: A charity gig in aid of Pieta, as Cork-based band Digital play the hits from Joy Division and New Order. Tickets €20.

Linkin Park tribute, Cyprus Avenue, 7pm: Part of the Hybrid Theory 25th Anniversary Show, the ultimate Linkin Park tribute, with special guests Let The Flames Begin. Tickets €16.50.

Gerry Tully sings from The Christy Moore Songbook, St George’s Arts and Heritage Centre, Mitchelstown, 8pm: The Meath-based folk singer takes to the stage. Tickets €25.

Sunday

Sean Bell, Maureen’s, 2.30pm: Early music meets experimental synth-pop. Performance artist Sean Bell creates his own world based on 17th century composer John Dowland’s timeless texts and music. Tickets €17.

Sunday Sessions, Cronin’s Pub, 6pm: Fiona Kennedy takes to the stage. Free entry.
