The Rocky Horror Show, Cork Opera House, 5pm and 8.30pm: Richard O’Brien’s legendary rock’n’roll musical, featuring much-loved TV star Jennifer Zamparelli as the narrator. Tickets €26.

Getaway Outta That!, Cork Arts Theatre, 8pm: From the familiar faces behind the Improv Panto and The Improv Murder Mystery, the gang return with a brand-new show. Tickets €18.

Al Porter – Algorithm, Cork Opera House, 8pm: Following up his sold-out tour in 2023/24, Al’s back with his unique brand of comedy meets his most relatable stories ever. Cork’s Sinéad Quinlan is special guest on the night. Tickets €25.

Young Playwrights Presentation, The Everyman, 4pm: In April, the Young Playwrights Programme brought together aspiring young writers to hone their script writing skills. The result is a brand-new written by Irish theatre’s next generation, performed by an ensemble of professional actors. Ticketed but free.

Aidan Duffy, Maureen’s, 3pm: Aidan’s music blends influences from soul, blues, and Irish folk, with intimate and poignant lyrics. Tickets €17.

Sarah Hickey, SAL and Rebecca Ruane, Sirius Arts Centre, Cobh, 8pm: Cork-based musicians combine folk, pop and blues styles. Tickets € 17.

The Irish Guitar Quartet, St Barrahane’s Church, Castletownshend, 3pm: Jerry Creedon, Redmond O’Toole, David Keating and Aengus Kirakowski perform a variety of styles. Tickets €22.42.

A1 Events: Afro-urban BBQ Party, Wavelength, 6pm: Ultimate fusion of Afrobeat, RnB, and Amapiano vibes to the heart of the city. Tickets €22.

Big Country, Cyprus Avenue, 7pm: Originally formed in Scotland in 1981 by Bruce Watson and the late Stuart Adamson. Tickets €33.
