- Luke Thomas and Una Healy present Fly Me To The Moon, Everyman Theatre, 5.30pm: After their critically acclaimed performance at Dublin’s Sugar Club last December, Luke and Una return with a brand-new show featuring songs from the most iconic artists of the last century. Tickets €31.
- Green Room Jazz with Paul Dunlea and Cormac McCarthy, Cork Opera House, 9pm: Corkonians Paul and Cormac join forces for a special Jazz Weekend performance. Tickets €20.

- Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, Cyprus Avenue, 7pm: The seven sons of jazz great Phil Cohran from Chicago carry on his musical legacy. Tickets €30.
- The Pocket Jazz Orchestra, The Pav, 7pm: Dynamic and evolving Manouche jazz ensemble based in Galway. Mellow, soulful tunes. Free entry.
- Jenny Greene & Special Guests, Cork City Hall, 11pm: Having just sold out her ‘Live at the Marquee’ show, Jenny teams up again with visual artist & DJ Ant of Generic People for the Guinness Cork Jazz Festival. Tickets €29.
- Asha Ari, The Pav, 9pm: Dublin-born artist Asha combines elements of pop, soul and R&B to create uniquely catchy, relatable songs. Part of Cork Heritage Pubs City-Wide Jazz Festival. Tickets free.
- Taylor Switch Tribute Charity Event, Cork International Hotel, 1pm: A fun-filled Taylor Swift tribute children’s party in aid of Cope Foundation. Tickets €20
- Bottomless Prosecco Afternoon Tea, Cork Jazz Weekend Special, Gaia, 3pm: Sweet and savoury afternoon tea and free-flowing prosecco, where your glass is always full. Tickets €35.
- Sad Songs At The BBC, BBC2, 8.10pm: A selection of some of the saddest - but finest - songs in the BBC’s music archives, with tear-jerkers by Paul McCartney, Kate Bush, the Smiths, Randy Crawford, Coldplay, Dolly Parton, and Eric Clapton.
- Generation Z, Channel 4, 9pm: Darkly comic, gory zombie-horror satire, starring Sue Johnston, Anita Dobson and Robert Lindsay, set in a fictional town, a quiet place until an army truck crashes outside a care home and infects the residents.
- Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen And The E Street Band, Disney+: New rock documentary promising a never-before-seen insight into the creative process of Springsteen and his acclaimed band, showing the huge amount of work that goes into their legendary live performances. The Boss played at the Páirc in Cork in May.
- Tyler Perry’s Beauty In Black, Netflix: Crystle Stewart and Taylor Polidore Williams star in this 16-part drama series, as women whose lives have taken them on vastly different paths that are set to converge. One runs a prosperous company whose success allows her to live the high life; the other is struggling to survive after her mother forced her out.
