Inniscarra capture the Barry O'Sullivan League title after big win over Eire Og

First half goals from Aoibhinn Murphy and Anne-Marie Coleman helped Inniscarra lead by six points at half time 2-7 to 2-1 in the Barry O’Sullivan league final against Eire Og.
Eire Og battled hard in the second half to try and find a way back with Roisin Murphy, Maria Barry Murphy and Ciara Roche working hard but Inniscarra kept ahead thanks to good work with Ava O’Regan, Aoife Power Sinead Herlihy and Aoibhinn Murphy, who were all prominent as they held the upperhand to ensure they held on to take the title.

The juvenile camogie board will hold their U14 final this weekend in Castle Road.
Tomorrow, Saturday, in the U14 B2 “1” final, Inniscarra 2 will meet either Watergrashill or Sarsfields at 10.30am.
This will be followed by the U14 B2 “2” final at 1.30pm between St Colm’s and Sarsfields 3.
The U14 Premier 2 final is on Tuesday at 7.15pm when Midleton will meet Ballincollig.
The U14A camogie final is on Wednesday with Barryroe meeting Erin's Own.
In the U14 B final, Rockban play Fr O’Neill's on Tuesday 18th or Tuesday 23rd, the date is still to be confirmed for this final.
On Friday, June 17th in the Premier 1 final, Newtownshandrum will meet Sarsfields 1 at 7.15pm.
The minor camogie championship draws took place recently.
With the county board deciding to start the championship earlier this year, clubs will have to have their first game played on or before 30th of June.
Second round gamess are to be played on or before July 21st, with third round on or before August 11th.
There will be a big break then until October when the group winners and second placed teams go forward to the quarter final.
The decision to play through the holiday months will impact on a lot of clubs with families heading away through the popular school holiday months.
In premier minor camogie, there are three groups of three teams.
In group one we have Barryroe, Aghabullogue and Newtownshandrum.
Group two is Éire Óg, Douglas and Ballincollig and in group three, Sarsfields, Sliabh Rua, and Inniscarra will play each other.
In the premier 2 grade, there are 14 teams broken into four groups.
There are two groups of four, and two groups of three.
Group one is Clonakilty, Ballyhea, St Finbarr’s and St Fanahan’s.
Group two is Killeagh, Midleton, Cloughduv, and Ballinhassig.
Group three is Fr O’Neill’s, St Catherine’s, and Kilbrittain / Timoleague.
Group four is Bishopstown, Blarney, and Kilworth.
In the minor A camogie grade there are 14 teams in four groups.
There are two groups of four teams and two groups of three teams.
Group one is Erin's Own, Inniscarra 2, Glen Rovers, and Newcestown.
Group two is Charleville, Milford, Laochra Og, and Youghal.
Group three is Douglas 2, Banteer, and Ballygarvan.
In Minor B there are 12 teams.
In group one we have Valley Rovers, Ballinascarthy, Dungourney, and Brian Dillon’s.
Group two is Mallow, Fermoy, Ballinora, and Carrigtwohill.
Group three is Bride Rovers, Bandon, Kinsale Castlemartyr, and Aghada.
The Minor C grade has 16 teams broken into four groups of four.
Group one is Aghada, Grenagh, Tracton, and Watergrasshill.
Group two is Crosshaven, Enniskeane, Cobh, and Passage West.
Group three is Blackrock, Kilbree, Castlelyons, and Kildorrey.
Group four is Rockban, St Colum’s, Na Piarsaigh, and St Vincent's.
The adult and juvenile boards have organised summer cup competitions for the month of July to keep players playing during what is traditionally holiday time.
These competitions are organised to enable clubs to keep players who may be available playing matches.
The competitions are played on a small-sided basis with reduced numbers due to players being on holidays.
