Business League: Champions Doolan’s Cow picked up only their second win in six against Martin Harvey Solicitors in the Grandon’s Toyota Premier Division at Rockenham.
Champions Doolan’s Cow went into their contest with MHS at Rockenham last Sunday afternoon looking for a second win in six.
Although Harvey’s may have had one eye on next Sunday afternoon’s Shield semi-final showdown with DHF Grangevale, Doolan’s went all out to score first through Greg Kelly in the 39th minute, Jamie Murphy showed his alertness in front of goal with the decisive second with four minutes remaining.
Despite going behind to a sixth-minute opener by Emmanuel O’Neill for the hosts, Rob Hughes levelled up matters for the Hospitals with the equaliser in the 37th minute. Once Ken Graham shot the Hospitals in front for the first time before the hour, goals from Conor O’Halloran and Vaibhav Naik put the finishing touches to the visitors' second win of the campaign.
Arc maintained their unbeaten start to the campaign with a fourth win in six. The hosts led three-nil through by Tony Carroll, Paudie Cotter and Conor Ryan by the 75th minute before Marcos Aurelio reduced the deficit two minutes later.
Last season’s Second Division champions OBS put a dent in Barbers’ quick return to the top flight at Camden after Anthony Moynihan’s 40th-minute strike was complemented by a late double from Scaffolding’s talisman Niall O’Brien.
Rock-bottom Dripsey picked up a much-needed win over Marlboro Trust at Ballinhassig. After Cormac Keane and Ryan Twomey put the visitors two up, Trust’s Daniel Jaouhari halved the lead by the 35th minute, only for Stephen O’Brien to give Dripsey a 2-0 cushion at the break.
Twomey set up Dalian Roche for a fourth with 10 minutes remaining.
Callan Dempsey got the ball rolling for Here’s Health with the first for the hosts as early as the 7th minute. A brace from Abbey’s Ronan Twomey looked to be enough to give the visitors the lead at half-time.
However, Jack Murphy got in for the equaliser before ref Stephen Madine could bring the curtain down on an exciting first 45 minutes. The second 45 matched the first in terms of goals with Philip Horan and John McLoughlin putting Abbey in front for the first time only for goals Dempsey and Ken O’Brien to grab a share of the spoils.
Conor Hickey got the show on the road for Valley with the first in the 10th minute paving the way for manager Eoin Doyle’s younger Cian to race onto Ben O’Connor’s pass to fire in number two early in the second half.
Fletcher Fynn reduced the deficit just after the hour mark but Valley had the bit between their teeth at that stage and applied three unanswered goals courtesy of a Tadgh Clancy double and Joaquin Almeida 88th minute strike.
ePower’s recent run of good form continued with this win over the Tigers at Mayfield Park. Daragh Bagnell Hartnett opened the scoring right on half-time with Lachlan McRae, Ryan Murray and Alex Bell tagging on further goals in second 45 minutes.

After a quick exchange of goals between Helio’s Juan Da Villa and Celtic’s Ollie O’Sullivan, a Gabriel Peña Da Silva 70th-minute penalty finally broke the visitors' resolve.
De Villa and sub Ivan Milicevic scored goals in added time to put the hosts through to a second decider.
