Christina Desmond makes it wins three in a row with a points win over Johana Rajmount
Christina Desmond Vs Johana Rajmont, — — Corks Christina Desmond in action against Johana Rajmont of Czechia on the Siam Warriors Promotions Card at the Parochial Hal.
Cork professional boxer Christina Desmond headlined the Siam Warriors Superfights Pro Boxing event at the GCU Parochial Arena on Saturday night and was supported by her follow Cork professionals Cathal Crowley, Aaron O’Donoghue and Kuba Pielesz.
Christina fought Johana Rajmount from Czechia in a welterweight bout scheduled for eight rounds and put in an another superb performance to win her third professional fight on points.
Crowley was up against Polish fighter Adam Cieslak at Super Middleweight and got back to winning ways with an eye-catching performance when he stopped his opponent in the fifth round.

Aaron O'Donoghue had his fourth professional welterweight fight against Sebastian Krakowki and won by knocking his opponent out in the third round.
Kuba Pielesz made his professional debut against another Polish fighter Jukub Laskowski, in a four round welterweight bout, and won the fight on points.
Desmond made a superb start to her fight with some nice combinations to her opponents head and body that had her large band of supporters on their feet.
The southpaw for Cork again pushed the pace in the second round and rocked Rajmont with a powerful overhead left to the head that certainly caught the judges eyes.
Desmond controlled the third, fourth and fifth rounds and was able to pick off her opponent at ease with some telling shots that had Rajmount in trouble at various times of the fight.
In fairness Desmond was at a different level and could have stopped the fight at any given time, however, she her opponent was very tough and she got good rounds in the bank.
Cathal Crowley made a superb start to his fight by landing some telling shots that had his opponent on the back foot.
He had his opponent in trouble late in the round and dropped him with a lovely combination, but Cieslax survived the bell.

The pattern of the second,third and fourth rounds didn’t change much with Crowley landing some powerful punches at will, but in fairness to Cieslax he showed his bravery although he was well behind on points.
Crowley pushed the pace of the fight again in the fifth round and dropped his opponent again with a powerful right hook to the head and the referee had no other choice but to stop the fight.
Aaron ( the storm) O’Donoghue started his fight on the front foot with his quick hands that had his opponent scrambling. He kept disciplined by keeping his guard high, but left his hands go at every opportunity.
O’Donoghue continued to push the pace of the fight in the second round and caught Krakowski with a powerful right hook that had him wincing in pain.
The pattern of the fight didn’t change much with O’Donoghue landing some heavy shots.
However, when he caught his Polish opponent with a flurry of punches he sent Krakowski to the canvas in which he never recovered and the referee stopped the fight.
Kuba Pielesz started his fight working behind his left jab and caught his opponent with a powerful right hook to the body that rocked Laskowski. He finished the round by letting his hands go that certainly pleased his trainer Pascal Collins.
Pielesz was certainly the most stylish fighter and used his impressive footwork to get in to hurt Laskowski in the second round and then danced his way out of trouble.
The pace of the fight dropped in the third round, however, the Polish fighter nicked the round.

In the final round, Laskowski threw a higher volume of punches, however, it was Pielesz who landed the cleaner shots to get the decision from the judges.
