Three rounds down and only two teams in Division 2 maintain a 100% record, Cork and Meath. The two clash this weekend at Páirc Uí Rinn, and the winner will be in a great position to get promoted to the top tier.

At the top of the scoring charts there’s a three way tie – Shane McGuigan, Sam Mulroy and Brian McLoughlin all rising to the top of the charts after strong performances in the third round of fixtures.

Steven Sherlock and Offaly’s Keith O’Neill have both fallen from joint third to joint fourth – the pair each totalled 0-5 last weekend – as O’Neill was one of Offaly’s best performers and Sherlock continues to show Cork what they were missing last season.

Joint sixth is held by Mark Cronin, Meath’s Jordan Morris and Tyrone’s Ethan Jordan, the latter falling from first, while Cavan’s Gearóid McKiernan falls to ninth as the Breffni men suffered their third defeat in three.

Ben Loakman completes the table to leave Cork and Kildare as the only two teams to have more than one representative in the top 10.

In the from play chart McLoughlin maintains his position at the top of the chart after notching 1-2 in their defeat to 14-man Derry last weekend.

McGuigan climbs to second after a superb performance in that win, his 1-4 from play key to Derry’s victory, while Louth’s Craig Lennon completes the podium.

There are five players tied for fourth place, one of them being Cork’s Mark Cronin, who has kicked 1-8 from play in the first three games. Meath’s Ruairí Kinsella is the only other player of the five to have raised a green flag, Darragh Canavan, Ben Loakman and Keith O’Neill have all totalled 0-11 from play.

Completing the table are Cavan’s Dara McVeety and Meath’s Jordan Morris.
