Huge show of Maui Thai and professional boxing this weekend in Cork

Siam Warriors Superfights is back with another huge night of Maui Thai and professional boxing action next Saturday at Gurranabraher Credit Union Parochial Arena.
The Siam Warriors Cork Muay Thai club is synonymous with delivering the most exciting display of fight events in the country by hosting huge fight names like Saenchai ,Seksan, Jomhod, Jonathan Haggerty, Paul Daley, Liam Harrison and Nico Carrelo and in the professional boxing with Cork’s Tommy Hyde, Danny Keating, Cathal Crowley and Kerry’s Irish Lightweight Champion Kevin Cronin all fighting in previous Siam Warriors events in the past.
The Muaythai event had a 16 fight Main Card featuring WBC MuayThai International Celtic Title, a huge top tier World Superfight Eliminator, all under Full Muay Thai Rules, Thailands explosive art of eight limbs Boxing, with Elbows, Kicks, and Knees all in mix.
Along with high calibre Muay Thai World and Thailand stadium champions who are regular fighters at these events, there will also be some excellent professional boxing with Cork’s Christina Desmond headlining the boxing event, and Cathal Crowley and Aaron O’Donoghue will also be in action in what promises to be an very exciting event on both codes of professional fights.

Siam Warriors Cork are represented by Ireland’s rising standouts, Aideen Mullins and Colm O’Mahony in an international match up.
Both are World WBC Muay Thai gold World medalist’s in A Class Full Thai Rules match ups.
Aideen will be fighting French native Thalia Tchoue in a 67 kg bout and Colm will be fighting follow Irish man Struan Mason who fights out of the Sunan Thia club in Galway in a 63.50 kg bout.
Also Shane Quinlan and Leo Martinez who are exciting Cork fighters will compete for Silver Series Pro / Am Titles on the night.
In A SYMPHONY OF ACTION Professional Boxing card Christina Desmond will be making her home debut in her third professional fight, Cathal Crowley will also returned to action, Aaron O’Donovan will be making his Cork debut for his fourth professional fight and Kuba Pielesz, Graham McCormack and David Ryan will also be in action in a action packed card.
Desmond will fight Johana Rajmount who hails from Prague, Czechia who has a six and six record in an eight round Welterweight bout.
Desmond has already has beaten Argentinian Naila Abigail Pelosoin Belfast on points last November and stopped Polish fighter Joanna Fraszczak in Dublin in October, so she will come into this fight with plenty of confidence and eager to put on a show for the Cork public.
Cathal Crowley will be back in action after his IBU Lightweight title loss on points to Kevin Cronin back in November at the National Stadium in Dublin.
He was supposed to fight Marcelo Fabian Bzowski at the Excelsior Sports Club in Birmingham last November, however, Crowley picked up a rib injury and had to pull out of the fight.

Cathal will be pitting his skills against Polish fighter Adam Cieslak in a six round Super Middleweight bout and he should get back to winning ways against Cieslak who has a record of 8-29.
The other Cork boxer in action is Welterweight Aaron O’Donoghue and his opponent hasn’t been named at the time of writing.
This will be O’Donoghue’s fourth fight as a professional after beating Jacob Marrer, Igor Santos and David Rodrigues in his three previous fights.
