Both of Cork’s home matches in this year’s Munster SHC have been confirmed as Sunday afternoon fixtures.

The Munster Council have circulated the dates and times for the ten round-robin clashes, with the make-up of each round of matches having been determined prior to Christmas.

Cork’s opening match in Munster had already been confirmed as a repeat of the 2025 All-Ireland final against Tipperary and, unsurprisingly, that game has been given prime-time Sunday billing with a 4pm throw-in at FBD Semple Stadium on April 19, following the clash of Clare and Waterford in Ennis at 2pm.

A week later, Cork are again in the Sunday 4pm slot as Limerick visit SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh before a two-week gap to their next match, which is the only one set for a Saturday. Azzurri Walsh Park will be the venue of May 9 as Waterford welcome Ben O’Connor’s side, with that match starting at 6pm.

There is another break of a fortnight between that outing and the last of the regular fixtures, with Cork at home to Clare at 4pm on Sunday, May 24 while Limerick take on Tipp at the same time.

The Munster final had already been confirmed for Sunday, June 7 as part of the Saturday/Sunday rotation with the Leinster hurling decider. That match will have a 2pm throw-in, with seven of the ten possible pairings leading to Páirc Uí Chaoimh being used, while two of the other three permutations would involve Cork playing at TUS Gaelic Grounds.

Tickets for the Munster final remain at €50, while terrace tickets are €35, down €5 from last year. Admission to the round-robin games stay the same as last year, too: €35 for a stand ticket, €30 terrace and €5 for U16s while students and OAPs able to avail of a €5 discount.
