Neptune Basketball Club have confirmed that Ciarán McKiveney has stepped down from his position as SuperLeague team manager, effective immediately.

The executive committee wish to place on record its sincere thanks to Ciarán for his hard work, professionalism, and dedication to the SuperLeague team over the past few months, having only been appointed in early November 2025.

His contributions have been valued by everyone at the club, and we wish him the very best in his future endeavors.

To oversee the remainder of the Super League season, the club is pleased to confirm that Paul O’Brien will take charge of the first team, assisted by Darren Geaney.

The club remains fully focused on finishing the season strongly and appreciates the continued support of our fans and sponsors during this transition.

Neptune are in serious danger of relegation from the Super League.  They are bottom of the table with just four wins from 15 games.
