Golf coach Jack Howard launches Simply Golf 365

Jack Howard has just launched a new golf business, Simply Golf 365.
The new venture is a mobile golf simulator, and it will be based in Raffeen Creek for next few months.
Howard has spent the past few months setting up the business and is now up and running.
After a number of pop-up events, the new business is now based in Raffeen Creek Golf Club, and to launch the new location Jack invited members of the club to come and try out the new simulator last week.
The feedback was very positive and was key part of the decision to base the new venture at Raffeen for the remainder of 2025.
“The feedback from Raffeen Creek has been brilliant,” said Jack after the first week.
“The management team, Willy and Jo, have been a great help and a pleasure to work with.
"Everyone’s been really positive and supportive of the setup, which has been great to see.
"We’re going to be based in the sports hall at Raffeen Creek for the remainder of the year.
" It’s a great location, and it’ll allow more people to come in, experience the simulator, and see what it’s all about.”

At a time of the year when driving ranges and teaching studios are in high demand, the new simulator gives golfers an extra opportunity to hit balls when courses may be closed because of weather or limited daylight.
Although there are a number of public and private simulators and studios in the Cork region, Jack’s set up is mobile and can be moved to any location for special events.
It promises to bring the excitement of the course to events, workplaces and private gatherings, so you can expect to see Simply Golf 365 in a number of different places in 2026.
The simulator is entirely contained in a purpose built inflatable dome which allows it to be moved to any location without posing a risk to anyone outside the tent.
It’s an impressive structure, over 25 feet in height and covering a large floor area.
There’s plenty of room for the simulator as well as a seating area for groups. Howard also has the option to extend the modular structure to add another simulator if demand grows.
“The structure is really what the brand is all about,” explained Howard.
“We tried a few different approaches to the enclosure before landing on the final design.
"The design process actually took the longest, as we wanted to be as efficient as possible with the space, especially since the simulator dimensions can be quite awkward. It took a lot of tweaking, but we’re really happy with how it turned out.”
Individuals and groups can hire the simulator for practice or for play.
Whether is a bit of fun or private lessons, or a group session on one of the hundreds of courses available, the new simulator is open for all and not just serious golfers looking to improve.
“The idea is to make golf more accessible and enjoyable for all levels,” said Jack.
“The market is really for everyone. It’s for anyone looking to improve their game — from complete beginners to low-handicap players.”
Howard now has an online booking system available for any individuals or groups looking to play in the comfort of indoors.
Howard and his family are no strangers to golf.

Along with his brothers and his dad, they have all been members of Fota Island for many years.
His brother David has been a regular on the Irish amateur scene for the past three years, and won the prestigious East of Ireland Championship earlier this year.
Having worked in golf in Fota Island and the Old Head, Howard was looking for a new challenge as far back as a year ago.
“The idea actually came about last November when I was out for dinner with my partner Tara.
"We were talking about work, and I was in two minds about going abroad for a job — but it didn’t really feel like the right move for us.
“I still wanted to stay involved in the golf industry, so that’s when we came up with the idea of a golf simulator business together.
"We thought making it mobile would be something different and really stand out.
"Since then, we’ve both been working on it together, and our families and friends have been a big help in shaping what the business looks like today.”
