Keith Daly, Neptune coach has been relieved of his coaching duties at the club

Neptune Basketball Club can confirm that Keith Daly has been relieved of his duties as SuperLeague Manager with immediate effect.

The executive committee would like to sincerely thank Keith for his dedication, commitment, and contributions to the club to date.

His efforts and professionalism during his tenure have been greatly appreciated by all involved with Neptune Basketball Club.

However, following recent results, the executive committee has agreed that a change in leadership/ management is necessary to help the team halt the current losing run and refocus for the remainder of the season.

As the club begins the process of appointing a new Head Coach, Paul O Brien, assisted by Ronan O’Sullivan will take charge of the team on an interim basis for this weekend’s Super League fixture against Sligo All Stars.

The club will provide a further update in due course.

Neptune have lost their opening five games of the season and are bottom of the table.
