The knockout stages and relegation playoffs in the five tiers of the Cork club football championships are set after a packed weekend of matches.

Newcestown's victory over Castlehaven to top Premier SFC Group 1 has shaken up that grade as it sent the champions into a quarter-final with great rivals St Finbarr's.

Nemo Rangers, who blitzed St Michael's, grabbed the number one seed ahead of St Finbarr's on scoring difference. That put them straight into a semi-final.

The other Premier Senior quarter-finals are Newcestown against Carrigaline, who shipped a heavy beating from the Barrs but were through already, and Duhallow against Ballincollig, who saw off Douglas courtesy of a Cian Dorgan goal.

There are some cracking clashes on the horizon down through the tiers, including Éire Óg against Bishopstown and Kanturk-Knocknagree in the Senior A quarter-finals and Glanmire versus Aghada in the Premier Intermediate last six.
