It’s all churn in the scoring charts across Cork’s senior football championships. The only place where the order has held steady is Premier Intermediate, where the same four names still front the list, albeit in a different sequence.
Chris Óg Jones continues to set the pace there. His hat-trick against Castletownbere brought his championship tally to 5-11, with 5-7 from play. He sits well clear of Nemo’s Jack Coogan, who has climbed into second after another assured display.
Such is Chris Óg’s quality, he still remains in the top three of the PSFC – his haul of 3-8 just enough to keep him ahead of Mark Cronin. Duhallow’s Luke Murphy is just ahead of Jones with 2-13, though he has now been displaced by David Buckley, who has scored a staggering 0-23 in the first two rounds, including six two-pointers.

Steven Sherlock makes his move into the top five, with 1-10 to his name. He’s just ahead of Valley Rovers’ Fiachra Lynch, who’s scored 0-11 so far after two rounds.
There’s a four-way tie for seventh spot, with Conor Daly, Brian Coakley Mark Collins and Jack Curtin all with the same 10-point total, but each with a unique variation of goals and points to achieve that.
After their scoring frenzy in Newmarket on Sunday, the top two spots of the SAFC chart are occupied by Conor Corbett and Anthony O’Connor, after each top-scored for their respective teams, though the Clyda Rovers man leads the way by five after the opening two rounds.
Diarmuid Mac Thomáis falls from second to third, though remains just a point behind O’Connor after accumulating 1-10 so far for Béal Átha’n Ghaorthaidh.

Kanturk’s Grantas Bucinskas is the second of five new entries to the top 10, and is tied with Cill na Martra’s Ciarán Ó Duinnín and O’Donovan Rossa’s Kevin Davis for fourth spot.
Kiskeam’s hero against Macroom completes the top three of the PIFC chart, having scored 0-15 so far, and is one point ahead of Bandon’s Michael Cahalane.
Aghabullogue’s Luke Casey completes the top five with 2-7, all of which has come from play.
