Cork rugby legend Peter O'Mahony has retained his place in the Ireland starting 15 for Saturday's Six Nations showdown with France, 2pm.

The 35-year-old, who is retiring at the end of the season, is hoping to add to his five Six Nations titles, which includes two Grand Slams. A win at the Aviva against France would set up a chance to complete a historic three-in-a-row in the championship away to Italy.

Head coach Simon Easterby kept faith with O'Mahony, immense in the most recent battle with Wales in Cardiff, but made four changes to the line-up.

Ireland captain Caelan Doris is back fit while Hugo Keenan, Bundee Aki and Finlay Bealham are also selected.

Cork's Jack Crowley is again named among the replacements.

IRELAND (v France):

H Keenan; J Osborne, R Henshaw, B Aki, J Lowe; S Prendergast, J Gibson-Park; A Porter, D Sheehan, F Bealham; J McCarthy, T Beirne; P O’Mahony, J van der Flier, C Doris.

Replacements: R Herring, C Healy, T Clarkson, J Ryan, J Conan, R Baird, C Murray, J Crowley.
