Cork City’s 18-year-old snooker prodigy, Leone Crowley, is on the brink of making history as he competes in the finals of the 2025 WSF Junior Championship in Morocco this afternoon at 2pm Irish time. 

The final will be broadcast live on the WPBSA YouTube channel.

Leone has already cemented his place as one of Ireland’s most promising young athletes, boasting an extraordinary record of championship victories. 

He has claimed titles in the Irish U12, U14, U16, U18, and U21 National Championships, and also won the U21 UK Open Championship in 2024.

Representing Ireland in major international tournaments around the world, Leone is now aiming to become the first-ever Irish player to win the prestigious WSF Junior Championship.

Today’s match holds even greater significance, as the winner will secure a coveted two-year World Snooker Tour (WST) tour card, providing entry into the sport’s most elite professional tournaments. 

Leone’s exceptional performance in the championship so far has already secured his place in the 2025 World Snooker Tour Championship qualifying rounds, set to take place in April, by reaching the tournament’s last four.
